Artificial intelligence is at once fascinating and challenging: never before has a technology evolved so quickly or entered our lives so directly. Its integration into art is more than a technical advance: it is a deep cultural transformation that questions and expands our ideas of creation, authorship and the way society operates.
From the invention of the photographic camera to the spread of the computer, technologies have always shaped artistic production. Today, AI changes the very foundations of the creative process. What can contemporary art reveal about a new mode of consciousness in a culture with artificial intelligence? How does that consciousness show itself as it reimagines art?
These questions run through ARTELLIGENT, International Festival of Art and Artificial Intelligence. Made of a symposium and an exhibition, the event opens a space for critical reflection on the future of art and society in a world increasingly shaped by AI. The exhibition brings together works made with AI techniques in many formats, envisioning a synergy between humans and machines in which both collaborate to enrich aesthetic and intellectual experience. The real revolution AI brings lies not only in its technical capabilities but in the chance for artists to keep reinventing and questioning what creation means, conceiving ever more diverse and challenging ways to connect us to art and to our world.
